At dusk on Sunday 13th November the children and families connected with Cobnuts Kindergarten met at the Blackthorn garden to celebrate Martinmas. The sun shone on our harvest apple pressing afternoon! We made some lovely autumn garlands with ivy flowers, hips, berries, leaves and acorns. We shared delicious homemade cake, live music and of course, apple juice!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a magical celebration of Martinmas. It was wonderful to be back in the Blackthorn garden, enjoying the soft glow of our lanterns together.
Gnomes are guardians of the Earth’s minerals and their work is always in connection with the Earth. Today they helped big hands and small as we tidied the kindergarten garden.
